Irish Coffee Chocolate Cake

The only thing better than a true Irish coffee? A chocolate Irish coffee cake! The coffee + whiskey combo really makes this cake unique. When those rich notes in the cake meet the fluffy chocolate whipped cream, you know this cake truly has it all.

1 cup strong coffee

1 box chocolate cake mix

1 box chocolate jello pudding mix

4 eggs

½ cup oil

1 tub cool whip whipped cream

1 tub chocolate frosting

1 can condensed milk

2 ounces Irish whiskey (any whiskey works!)

Directions:

Whisk cake mix, pudding mix, coffee, oil and eggs together. Pour batter into a round springform cake pan. Bake the cake at 350 for 40 minutes until cake is done. Let cool for 10 minutes. Poke holes in cake with the back of a wooden spoon. Set cake aside. Slowly stir condensed milk and whiskey together. Pour the whiskey cream mixture over the cake holes. Let the cake cool completely. Using a hand mixer, slowly blend whipped cream and chocolate frosting together until combined. Frost cake with chocolate cream. Stores best in the refrigerator after a day.
