Look Around, Agriculture is everywhere!

March 24th, 2021
Ag Day
at the
Capitol
Coming Together
to
Celebrate, Taste and Educate
With a Gubernatorial proclamation received, the Colorado Ag Council will be celebrating agriculture at the Capitol, March 24th, 2021, with a different twist.
This year we will be serving a "Crafted Colorado Lunch" !
The lunch menu is being prepared as we speak and will be delivered to each Legislator at their office on March 24th.
Along with their crafted box lunch Legislators will be extended an invitation to attend online presentations from various ag organizations and commodity groups. Of course we are planning to have all Colorado Ag Council Members, both voting and non-voting participate.
It is really simple to participate, just have a member(s) of your staff or even yourself give a 4-7 minute Zoom meeting presentation!
The main goal is to inform and educate:
- Mission
- Goals of Organization or Business
- History
- Why are you involved in this Ag Day!
- Tell the attendees, why Agriculture is important to all of us in Colorado
- Tell them how to contact your organization.
All of the presentations will be recorded and can be viewed at various times when time permits in the future.
A traditional activity of the Ag Day Celebrations is to provide an item to be placed in Legislator's recognition bag. This item helps us thank Legislators for participating in our Ag Day at the Capitol program and reminds them of the importance of the work we are all doing.
To participate in any or all of these activities, please complete the 5 minute survey below. Once you complete the survey and submit it, a spreadsheet will will automatically be prepared for Ag Day at the Capital!
We'll get back to normal!
