Eggs in action at the National Western Stock Show! A day of eggsperiments and egg tasting! We loved our time with you (Especially the mom who told us that her child only started eating eggs after this very tasting last year – special shout out to you!)
Egg Tasting: We had visitors try hard boiled eggs with honey mustard, bbq, ranch & ketchup. Some tried the sauces individually, others mixed them all together. The goal? To show you just how delicious eggs can taste with any sauce out of your fridge!
Eggsperiment: Kids picked up an egg and held it horizontally in the palm of their hand. They squeezed the egg with all their muscle and might! But the eggs didn’t break! Why? Eggs are super delicate but also incredibly strong too, so if you evenly distribute pressure from your palm around the egg, it won’t break. That’s why a hen can sit on her egg and it doesn’t break either! Any uneven pressure like wearing a ring or a fingernail into the shell will break it.
