6 Ingredient Pesto Pasta
Has your summer herb garden gone crazy? Mix those herbs with eggs, and pasta night is served!
3 eggs
1 lb pasta
2 tbsp heavy cream
3 garlic cloves
3 cups loosely packed fresh basil
2 cups shredded Parmesan or white cheddar
Candied bacon pieces (optional)
Boil pasta in salted water. While pasta is cooking, pulse eggs, cream, garlic and basil in a food processor until combined. Strain pasta once cooked and return to pot on medium low heat. Pour the basil egg mixture onto pasta and stir on low heat until sauce thickens (a few minutes). Season with lots of freshly ground black pepper. Fold in cheese and take pasta off heat. Top with bacon if using!
