AEB’s Egg Nutrition Center (ENC) educated thousands of Registered Dietitians earlier this week at the Food & Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE) October 26-29 in Philadelphia, PA — the world’s largest gathering of Registered Dietitians.

ENC’s exhibit booth focused on the nutrients in eggs that are important for brain health, notably raising awareness about the lutein in eggs by providing lutein eye testing at the booth to attendees.

Special thanks to Sauder’s Eggs (Lititz, PA) for generously providing flavored hard-boiled eggs for dietitians to sample at the exhibit booth!

ENC also hosted a culinary event that offered an opportunity to build relationships and teach RDs new ways to cook with eggs, with a special guest speaker, AEB Consumer Marketing Committee Chair Paul Sauder.

In addition, by invitation from FNCE, ENC Executive Director DR. Mickey Rubin and Director of Nutrition Research Dr. Jen Houchins each spoke at educational sessions about the Powerful Package of Protein and Dietitians’ Role in Associations, respectively.
